Honeymoon

This Punjabi comedy-drama follows a family whose members across generations are portrayed as endearingly foolish, from a farmer who mishandles a bomb to relatives who can't figure out a broken fan. The story centers on Deep, who falls for a young woman named Sukh after a chaotic pursuit involving his uncle and repeated mishaps with an electric meter, eventually winning her over and marrying her. Their fortunes change when a government offer to buy the family's land for a large sum arises, with relatives crediting Sukh's luck, though they misunderstand her simple wish to go on a honeymoon.
