A British student travels to Delhi to make a documentary about historic Indian freedom fighters and recruits a group of disaffected young men to play the revolutionaries on screen. Through the making of the film, the group grows increasingly politically engaged, and after a personal tragedy tied to government corruption strikes someone close to them, they are pushed toward real-life activism against official injustice.
