The Canterville Ghost

This animated adaptation of Oscar Wilde's story follows the ghost of Sir Simon de Canterville, who has haunted his family estate for centuries, as he tries to frighten a newly arrived American family, the Otises, out of the house. His attempts largely fail to unsettle them, except for the daughter, Virginia, who befriends him and becomes drawn into the mystery surrounding his wife's death and an old prophecy tied to the estate. As Virginia investigates with the help of a young duke and other locals, she uncovers secrets about the ghost's past while the family navigates their new life in England.
