Soorya Gayathri follows Dr. Balasubrahmaniam, a widowed physician who raises his son Raju single-handedly after losing his wife early in their marriage. When the academically gifted Raju enters engineering college, a ragging incident turns violent and leaves him fatally injured, plunging his father into deep grief. Devastated, the doctor sets out to confront those responsible for his son's death.
