This 1974 drama follows two brothers raised in poverty after their father's death at the hands of an indifferent landlord. Years later, as adults with contrasting temperaments, their lives become entangled with the landlord's family, leading to conflict, romance, and violence that ultimately tests the bonds of kinship and justice.
