This 2009 Kannada romantic drama, directed by Raghav Loki and adapted from Selvaraghavan's Tamil-Telugu film 7G Rainbow Colony, centers on Gilli, an aimless young man from a modest family who falls for Anitha, a girl from a once-wealthy household that has recently moved into his neighborhood. Initially dismissive of him, Anitha gradually sees his hidden potential and pushes him to find steady work and mend his strained relationship with his father, even as her own family's financial obligations threaten to keep the couple apart. The film stars newcomers Gururaj and Rakul Preet Singh, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
