Set against the backdrop of Bengali wedding customs, this 2008 musical romance follows Akash, who has a chance encounter with a young woman named Barsha and quickly develops feelings for her, only to lose all means of finding her again. Fate later brings the two together once more when he attends a wedding celebration connected to his family, setting the stage for a story about love, family bonds, and personal sacrifice. A Bengali remake of a Kannada film, it features music by Jeet Gannguli and was shot across Kolkata, Jalpaiguri, Purulia, and London.
