Partition

Set against the 1947 Partition of India, this drama follows Gian Singh, a Sikh veteran haunted by the death of a friend in the British Indian Army, who shelters a young Muslim woman named Naseem after she is separated from her family during communal violence. As the two grow close and build a life together near the Pakistani border, their bond is tested when Naseem is called back to reunite with her surviving family across the new border, forcing Gian to decide how far he will go to keep his family together. The film explores themes of love, loss, and displacement amid the upheaval of India's division.
