This drama imagines a pivotal week in the life of Mother Teresa, portraying her choice to step away from her Kolkata convent in order to found what would become the Missionaries of Charity. Noomi Rapace stars in the title role, in a story adapted from director Teona Strugar Mitevska's earlier miniseries about the nun. The film marks Mitevska's first feature made in English and premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in 2025.
