Directed by Mahesh Dattani — Shabana Azmi · Perizaad Zorabian · Lillete Dubey · Prakash Kovelamudi

Set in a South Indian village, this musical drama follows a young man eager to trade his family's landowning legacy for a career composing contemporary music, and a grieving Carnatic singer haunted by the accidental death of her son years earlier. Their paths cross by chance, along with a modern city woman whose car breakdown strands her in the village, and the film traces how music binds these three people shaped by past loss. Blending English dialogue with Telugu and classical Carnatic musical traditions, it explores healing and connection through song.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
