A man inherits ancestral land in a village and travels there to sell it, unaware that his family is the target of a decades-old blood feud. Once he arrives at the home of his family's enemies, a local tradition forbidding violence within the household becomes his only protection, forcing him to find ways to remain inside while those who wish him harm wait for him to leave.
