Set against the backdrop of Pakistan's 1971 conflict that led to the creation of Bangladesh, this Pakistani drama follows university students in a theater club preparing a stage production about that historical rupture for a festival in Dhaka. As they research and rehearse, the group confronts the lingering myths and suspicions surrounding the events, ultimately choosing a path centered on understanding and reconciliation rather than the reactions typically expected. Directed by Nabeel Qureshi and starring Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas Khan, the film was released in 2021.
