Major Mahadevan leads a military unit on a counter-terrorism operation after terrorists hijack a commercial aircraft. A young recruit named Suryanath, who has recently joined Mahadevan's commando team, participates in the dangerous mission to retake the plane and neutralize the threat. The film draws inspiration from a real 1999 airline hijacking incident and presents events from an Indian military perspective.
