A lazy village man who has accumulated debts throughout his community crosses paths with a woman being threatened by her brother-in-law. After initial misunderstandings bring them together, he reforms his ways and becomes a debt collector, ultimately working to protect her from her antagonist while the two develop romantic feelings for each other.
