This Punjabi romantic comedy follows Fateh, a village man determined to marry a Canadian woman purely to gain citizenship, and Pooja, an ambitious young woman hoping to study fashion design abroad. Their paths keep crossing, from a passport office to a shared apartment to jobs at rival family-run restaurants, forcing them into an increasingly tangled and comic relationship. As they help resolve a family's financial troubles, unspoken feelings begin to develop between them.
