Set during the 1962 Sino-Indian War, this war-drama follows a small Indian military unit stationed in Ladakh's difficult terrain as they face a significantly larger Chinese force. Outgunned and operating under orders not to fire first, the soldiers struggle to survive against overwhelming odds while dealing with harsh weather and strategic disadvantages. The film interweaves the soldiers' personal stories, including a romance between a young officer and a local girl, with the broader tragedy of combat.
