This biographical drama follows the true story of Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai during the Taliban's control of the Swat Valley. After the Taliban banned girls from school in 2009, she began anonymously documenting life under their rule for the BBC, eventually becoming an internationally recognized voice for women's educational rights. Her outspoken advocacy made her a target, culminating in a 2012 assassination attempt that brought her message to global attention.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
