Set in a village, this film follows a young widow living with her father, who runs a struggling traditional school. When her secret relationship with a local teacher results in pregnancy, the conservative community turns against her, forcing her to endure severe social ostracism. A sympathetic boy student becomes her only ally, though he too is ultimately separated from her.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
