This 1964 Tamil thriller, directed by S. Balachander, follows a businessman preparing for a trip to Singapore, unaware that his partner is hiding a past crime and conspires with associates to eliminate him using an explosive concealed inside a mechanical doll. When the doll goes astray and passes through several unsuspecting hands before ending up in a toy shop, a frantic search unfolds involving the conspirators as well as concerned colleagues trying to prevent tragedy. The film blends suspense with dark irony as the scheme repeatedly goes off track.
