This 1964 Tamil romantic thriller follows Gopal, a wealthy businessman who falls for a fellow traveller named Latha after meeting her on a cruise from Singapore. As their relationship deepens, a woman claiming to be his first wife Chitra, long believed dead, suddenly appears with her uncle, throwing Gopal's engagement and his account of his past into doubt. Directed by Dada Mirasi and produced by lead actor Sivaji Ganesan, the film also stars B. Saroja Devi, M. R. Radha, and Sowcar Janaki.
