This 2006 Hindi-language musical romance, directed by Tanuja Chandra, follows the relationship between Kriya, an exuberant and popular singer played by Sushmita Sen, and Suraj, a composed hospital doctor played by Shiney Ahuja, after the two meet at his workplace. As their romance develops, Suraj is introduced to Kriya's household, including her strict mother, her mother's more easygoing twin sister, and Kriya's unusually mature adopted son. Their bond is soon tested when a serious medical emergency involving the boy puts pressure on the couple.
