A scientist is framed for a murder and escapes custody, only to be kidnapped and imprisoned abroad. Meanwhile, a look-alike impostor is sent to India to infiltrate his life, including his relationship with his fiancée. The film follows the parallel struggles of the imprisoned man trying to escape and return home, and those around the impostor as they gradually discover his true identity.
