Set in 1947 in a small village in Maharashtra, just days before India's independence, this film follows an elderly man recounting memories of his grandson to his own grandchild. The narrative is framed as a grandfather's reminiscence of events from a time when news traveled slowly and villages remained isolated from major happenings.
