This 1994 Tamil masala film follows Chinnrasu, who dreams of becoming a district forest officer, and his father Rathnasamy, a forest department driver, along with sister Kalyani. After Rathnasamy's job transfer forces the family to relocate to the town of Vandicholai, the story unfolds through a flashback framed around Chinnrasu recalling the events that led him to his present dire circumstances. Directed by Manoj Kumar and starring Sathyaraj, Sukanya and Sivaranjani, it was later dubbed into Telugu.
