Set against the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War, this Hindi drama follows a devoted farmer named Bharat who gives up his own prospects to fund his younger brother Puran's education. Puran grows distant after adopting an urban lifestyle and later returns to the village pushing for a share of the family property, creating tension between the brothers. As war breaks out, Bharat enlists to serve, while back home Puran becomes entangled in a scheme involving grain profiteering guided by a self-serving relative.
