This Malayalam romantic comedy-drama follows Bineesh, a young man from the village of Pullinad who survives a difficult birth and grows up to develop a heavy smoking habit that earns him the nickname 'Theevandi.' His addiction complicates his romance with his childhood friend Devi, whose father is a local political figure, and eventually pulls him into village politics and a personal challenge over quitting cigarettes. The story blends family, small-town rivalry, and local elections with his struggle against addiction.
