Directed by K. Shankar — K. R. Vijaya · Jaishankar · Karthik

This 1982 Tamil devotional drama, directed by K. Shankar, follows the scattered children of a woman who defied caste-based mistreatment at the Kollur Mookambika Temple. As the siblings Senthil, Muthu, and Vellaiyamma grow up in separate places facing hardship, betrayal, and danger, their paths are repeatedly touched by divine intervention linked to the goddess Mookambika. The story weaves together their individual struggles with the temple's mythic origins, ultimately drawing the family back toward Kollur.

Where to watch in USA

We haven’t been able to find out. The catalogues we check have no entry for this film at all, which is common for older and regional releases — it means nobody could tell us, not that it isn’t streaming.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
