Kadhalar Dhinam

This 1999 Tamil romance directed by Kathir follows Raja, a young man from a poor background who moves to Mumbai to pursue an MBA at a prestigious business school, and Roja, a fellow student he meets and falls for through online chatting before realizing they attend the same college. Their budding relationship is complicated by misunderstandings and mishaps that keep them from openly expressing their feelings for each other. The film marked the acting debut of Kunal and the first Tamil project for Sonali Bendre, with music by A. R. Rahman and cinematography by P. C. Sreeram.
