This 2012 Hindi romantic comedy follows Mini, a wealthy young woman resistant to an arranged marriage her father is pushing her into, and Viren, a hardworking rickshaw driver saving up to start his own travel business. When a dispute over lost money spirals into chaos during Mini's engagement ceremony, she convinces Viren to stage a fake kidnapping so she can escape the wedding and split a ransom payment from her father. As the two hide out together and navigate the fallout of their scheme, an unexpected romance develops between them, complicated further when another kidnapping plot pulls them into Viren's hidden family history.
