Alongside the case, Surjan grapples with the strain the accidental drowning of his young son has placed on his marriage, even as his wife turns to a spiritual medium for comfort. As he digs deeper, connections emerge between the actor's death, a group of his friends, and a mysterious woman tied to their past.
