This Tamil-language action thriller follows college sweethearts Ravi Shankar and Sandhya, whose relationship is opposed by her scheming stepmother and threatened by a corrupt local official system. After Ravi is wrongly implicated in his father's death and the couple is subjected to abuse by powerful, corrupt figures, a criminal lawyer named Sukran becomes involved in their fight for justice. The film was directed by S. A. Chandrasekharan and features Vijay in a supporting title role alongside leads Ravi Krishna and Anita Hassanandani.
