This 2001 Kannada-Telugu hagiographical drama, directed by Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao, dramatizes the story of Manjunatha, a devotee associated with the Kotilingeshwara Temple. It follows a nonbelieving but kind-hearted man named Manjunatha who initially rejects Lord Shiva, marries a woman named Katyayini who is devoted to the deity, and gradually turns toward faith as their family and community are drawn into his spiritual journey.
