Saudagar follows two lifelong friends, a wealthy landlord's son and a poor farmer's son, whose bond turns into a bitter, decades-long feud after a tragic family betrayal drives them apart. As their rivalry hardens into rigid territorial rules enforced by fear, a manipulative relative fans the conflict for his own gain, even as the men's grandchildren fall in love without knowing the history between their families. An old storyteller who witnessed it all works to expose the truth and reconcile the estranged friends before more lives are destroyed.
