Samasthanam is a 2002 Tamil action drama about two lifelong friends, Thiru and Surya, whose families' bond spans generations, including their fathers and grandfathers. Their relationship faces strain when a man named Shankara, driven by a desire to avenge his father's death at the hands of Thiru's father, works to turn the two friends against each other through a series of family entanglements and misunderstandings.
