Saathi

A surgeon named Ravi returns home to head a hospital and grows close to Shanti, a nurse caring for her sick mother, eventually marrying her out of guilt after the mother's death despite his mentor Kaka wishing him to wed his own daughter Rajni. As Ravi and Shanti build a life together, his growing devotion to cancer research and its toll on their marriage sets off a chain of emotional complications involving Kaka's family. The story traces this evolving triangle of love, duty and sacrifice among the three central characters.
