Set in Goa, this 1985 musical romance follows Mona, who owns a modest eatery, and her devoted neighbor Raja, who secretly loves her without telling her. When Ravi, heir to a wealthy industrialist family, arrives from the US, he and Mona develop a romantic bond that Raja is unaware of, while Ravi's disapproving grandmother objects to their relationship due to differences in social standing.
