Set in the old Madras Presidency, this 1987 Tamil romantic comedy follows Gopi, a National TV Station employee married to his cousin Thulasi, who also falls for a well-known singer named Radha. Juggling both relationships leads him into a series of comic and romantic complications as he tries to keep his double life hidden. The film is an adaptation of the 1984 American comedy Micki & Maude, directed and shot by Balu Mahendra.
