This 2016 Tamil masala film follows Shiva, a young man from Kumbakonam known for helping couples unite, whose good deeds repeatedly put him at odds with a vengeful local don named David. To protect his sister's wedding from David's threats, Shiva agrees to abduct a woman connected to a rival gangster, Cheliyan, setting off a chain of complications across Madurai and Coimbatore. Interwoven with this present-day chaos is Shiva's guilt-ridden memory of a childhood love that ended in tragedy, which continues to haunt him.
