Ram Aur Shyam

Dilip Kumar plays dual roles as separated identical twins in this 1967 Hindi comedy-drama directed by Tapi Chanakya, a remake of his own Telugu film. One brother is a timid man tormented by his domineering brother-in-law, who controls the family estate, while the other is a bold, mischievous villager unaware of his true origins; a chance meeting leads them to swap identities and become entangled with two women, played by Waheeda Rehman and Mumtaz, as the truth about their shared past slowly comes to light.
