Rajavin Parvaiyile

This 1995 Tamil romantic drama follows Gowri, the daughter of a wealthy family, who visits her uncle's village and becomes drawn to Raja, a poor but studious laborer who keeps her at a distance. As she tries to understand his reluctance, she learns of a heartbreaking past involving his friend's failed romance, which has left him wary of love.
