This 2009 Tamil masala film follows Raja, a bus driver from Courtallam who sacrificed his own education to fund his three younger brothers' careers as a doctor, lawyer, and police officer, fulfilling a vow made to his dying father after a police assault led to his death. As an adult, Raja protects a young woman he considers his sister from harassment and a ruthless gangster-turned-politician, while also fending off a woman infatuated with him. When tragedy strikes those closest to him, he begins to uncover troubling truths about his own brothers' hidden lives.
