Raanjhnaa

Set in Varanasi, the story follows Kundan, a young Tamil Brahmin man, who becomes infatuated with Zoya, a Muslim neighbor, despite the obstacles their differing backgrounds create. When Zoya is sent away and later returns with new romantic and political entanglements from her university years in Delhi, Kundan's persistent devotion draws him into a tangled web of loyalty, deception, and consequence that reshapes both their lives.
