Set against the backdrop of a fictional Indian state's power struggles, this drama follows two rival political dynasties whose personal rivalries, hidden family secrets, and hunger for control mirror the ancient epic Mahabharata. As an ageing patriarch's health fails and a state election looms, sons, cousins, and an unacknowledged heir maneuver for succession through alliances, betrayals, and violence. The story traces how love, ambition, and old grudges collide as the families fight for control of a political party and its future.
