This Tamil drama follows Arul, a wealthy textile businessman whose mother falls into a coma after a factory accident. When medical treatment fails to help her, he is told that living secretly as a beggar for 48 days, without revealing his identity, might save her life, so he leaves his business behind and takes up this disguise in Chennai. While living among the city's beggars, he forms an unexpected connection with a compassionate woman named Magizhini, even as relatives eye his company and other dangers complicate his hidden ordeal.
