This 1977 Hindi crime drama follows two brothers raised together by a police officer, unaware that one is the biological son of a criminal he once arrested. As adults, one brother becomes a police inspector while the other drifts into a smuggling gang, and their paths collide when duty forces them into conflict with each other. Their lives become further entangled with two orphaned sisters who work as pickpockets, setting off a chain of family secrets and confrontations.
