Set over the course of two days in a coastal town near Mangalore, this Kannada comedy-drama follows a family visiting a village to arrange a marriage for their elder, dutiful son, while his free-spirited younger brother strikes up an unexpected connection with a spirited local girl. Amid the shifting fortunes of the marriage negotiations, the story touches on themes of education, career, family expectations and romance with a light, humorous tone. Directed by Yogaraj Bhat with music by Mano Murthy, the film became known partly for its popular soundtrack.
