Set in Bangalore, the story follows an unemployed but easygoing young man who becomes infatuated with a woman he keeps running into while she's also job-hunting. When she and a companion mistake him for a hired driver, he ends up escorting her on a long road trip toward Mumbai as she tries to escape a marriage her father is forcing on her. Along the way, the pair are pursued by two separate groups with their own agendas, one linked to her past and another tied to the man's own history in Mumbai.
