This 2011 Bengali romantic action film follows a college student who falls for a young woman visiting from the United States to study, sparking rivalry with another suitor before the two become a couple. When her father, a U.S. senator, arrives and pulls her away to separate them, the young man sets out to reunite with her despite visa troubles and confrontations abroad. Directed by Rajiv Kumar Biswas, it is a remake of a Telugu film and became the first entry in a popular franchise.
