Tamil · 1999 · 181 min · drama

Directed by K. S. Ravikumar — Rajinikanth · Sivaji Ganesan · Soundarya · Nassar · Ramya Krishnan · Manivannan · Radha Ravi

Padayappa follows a respected village leader's son who rises to wealth and power after his family loses its ancestral property to a scheming relative, while marrying a humble household worker instead of his wealthy, obsessive cousin who had wanted him for herself. Spurned and humiliated, she nurtures a long-standing grudge that resurfaces years later, threatening the hero's family through his grown daughter. The story blends themes of family honor, class conflict, and personal vengeance across two generations.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
