This Hindi-language biographical drama traces the real-life journey of Paan Singh Tomar, an Indian Army soldier who becomes a celebrated national steeplechase champion after being pushed into athletics for better rations. When a land dispute with a powerful relative turns violent and his family suffers tragedy, he abandons his military career and takes up arms as an outlaw in the Chambal Valley, seeking justice the legal system denied him. Framed through a journalist's interview years later, the film follows his transformation from decorated sportsman to hunted bandit amid corruption and personal loss.
